Hope’s Loving Pet Care is run by Hope, with a small team of sitters she trained. This page explains, in plain English, what information this website collects and what happens to it. If anything here is unclear, ask Hope directly.

What the walkthrough form collects

When you request a free walkthrough, the form asks for:

• Your name, phone number and email address
• How you prefer to be contacted
• Your city
• The service you are interested in and your dates
• Details about your pets, and any special needs you select
• An estimate from one of the cost calculators, if you chose to include one
• The address of the page you sent the form from

You only need to give your name and either a phone number or an email address. Everything else is optional.

Why Hope uses it

Hope uses this information to reply to you, answer your questions, and schedule your walkthrough and visits. She does not use it for anything else, and she does not add you to a mailing list.

Where it is stored

When you send the form, your request is saved as a private record in this website’s database, which only the site’s administrators can see. A copy is also emailed to Hope so she can reply quickly.

The cost calculators

The house sitting and pet care cost calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent anywhere unless you choose to submit the walkthrough form, in which case only the estimate is included with your request.

Fonts and analytics

This site loads its fonts from Google Fonts, so your browser connects to Google’s servers to download them. Google may receive basic technical information, such as your IP address, as part of that request.

Hope may add Google Analytics in the future to understand how many people visit and which pages are useful. If she does, it will use cookies to count visits. You can block or delete cookies in your browser settings at any time.

Who sees your information

Hope does not sell, rent or trade your information. It is seen by Hope, by the sitter caring for your pets when they need details for your visits, and by the companies that host this website and deliver its email, only as needed to run the site.

Your choices

Changes to this policy

If this policy changes, the new version will be posted on this page with a new “Last updated” date.
