In-home cat sitting, north metro and Boulder
Your cat stays home with fresh food, a clean litter box and quiet company, plus a photo for you.

Why cats do better at home
Most cats don’t like change. A carrier, a car ride and a strange room full of new smells can stress a cat for days.
At home, your cat keeps its own sunny window, its own hiding spots and its own schedule. Your sitter fits into that routine instead of asking your cat to fit into theirs.
Their own territory
No boarding, no carrier, no car. Your cat wakes up in the same place it fell asleep.
A clean litter box
A dirty box is one of the fastest ways to upset a cat. Your sitter scoops at every visit.
Meals and meds on time
Wet food, dry food, special diets and medication schedules, all written into the care plan.
Shy cats, noticed
A cat that hides all visit still gets checked on. Your sitter looks for signs it’s eating, drinking and using the box.
What cat owners say
Hope was wonderful caring for our feral cat while we were away. She gave us complete peace of mind by sending regular updates, photos, and messages letting us know how everything was going. It was so reassuring to see that our cat was being cared for with such patience and compassion.
My husband and I went on a day trip and were so thankful to have Hope’s Pet Care looking after our two cats and two dogs. We were extremely satisfied with the care they received.
When we returned home, our pets were happy, relaxed, and well cared for, and our home was clean.
Quiet, careful visits on your cat’s terms
Every cat is different, so every visit follows the care plan you write together at the walkthrough.
Meet
At the free walkthrough, Hope or one of her sitters meets your cat and learns its feeding times, litter setup, hiding spots, medications and vet contacts.
Feed and clean
Fresh food and water, the litter box scooped, any medication given and logged, and any messes cleaned up.
Keep company
Play, brushing or quiet time on the couch, whatever your cat enjoys. Shy cats are never pulled from hiding.
Update
A text and photo after every visit. If anything seems off, like a skipped meal or an empty box, Hope tells you right away.
Have a cat who shouldn’t be alone overnight, or a dog in the house too? Ask about overnight pet sitting.

Cats other sitters can’t get near
Hope has worked with animals since she was 14, when she volunteered at Francis Veterinary Hospital in Golden. Many years later, the cats that need the most patience are the ones she’s known for.
- Feral and shy cats
- Senior cats
- Diabetic cats
- Cats with cancer
- Medication schedules
- Multi-cat homes
Fish, birds and reptiles in the same home can be added to the plan too.

Cat sitting questions
Is it better to board my cat or use a cat sitter?
For most cats, staying home is easier. They keep their own space, smells and routine, and skip the carrier and car ride. A sitter comes to them instead.
My cat hides from everyone. Will that be a problem?
No. Shy and feral cats are one of Hope’s specialties, and every sitter she trains follows her approach. Nobody forces contact. Your sitter checks that food is eaten, water is fresh and the litter box is used, and lets your cat come to them when it’s ready.
Can you give my cat medication?
Medication schedules go into the written care plan, with doses and times. Tell Hope exactly what your cat needs at the walkthrough and she’ll tell you honestly what she can do.
How will I know my cat is okay?
You’ll get a text and photo after every visit. If your cat skips a meal, stops using the litter box or seems unwell, Hope contacts you right away.
How much does cat sitting cost?
Cat sitting rates depend on how many cats you have, how often your sitter visits and what care they need. Hope confirms your rate at the free walkthrough, before you book anything.
Going away? Let’s meet your cat first.
Hope or one of her sitters comes to your home, meets your cat and writes the care plan with you. Rather meet Hope herself? Just ask. No charge, no obligation.
