Westminster pet care: parks, trails and local tips
Westminster is where Hope lives. Overnights, drop-in visits and dog walks from a neighbor, not an app.

A Westminster pet sitter who lives here too
Westminster is Hope’s home base. She isn’t driving in from across the metro to fit your pets between other jobs.
The city straddles Adams and Jefferson counties, from the older streets near Westminster Station to the newer neighborhoods out by Standley Lake. Hope covers all of it, and she knows the parks, trails and winter mornings your pets live with.
Close to home
Hope lives in Westminster, so your home is part of her own part of town, not a long trip on the way to somewhere else.
Long days in Denver
Commuting downtown, by car or on the B Line from Westminster Station? Midday walks and drop-ins break up your dog’s day.
Front Range weather
Snowy sidewalks, icy mornings and hot summer afternoons. Walks are timed and paced for the day, and for your dog.
You know who’s coming
Every sitter is someone Hope knows personally and trained herself. You’ll know who’s coming before each visit, and you’ll hear from them every day you’re away.
What families say about Hope
Hope took exceptional care of our pets and home while we were away. She was dependable, trustworthy, and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind.
One of our dogs is partially blind and deaf, and the other has diabetes, so we needed a pet sitter with plenty of love, patience, and experience. Hope took exceptional care of both of our dogs.
It was clear our pets were happy, well cared for, and had a wonderful time with Hope.

Westminster places in your pet’s care plan

Standley Lake Regional Park
A large lakeside park on the west side of town. Dogs stay on a leash no longer than 15 feet, and they stay out of the water and off the beach, because the lake is a drinking water source.
Big Dry Creek Trail
A mostly flat trail of concrete and crushed gravel that runs about 9.5 miles from the Standley Lake trailhead east to I-25. Good for steady walks and older dogs.
Off-leash areas
Big Dry Creek Dog Park is fenced, with separate sides for small and large dogs. Westminster Hills is 422 acres and only partly fenced, so it suits dogs with a reliable recall.
Nearest 24-hour emergency vet
Northside Emergency Pet Clinic in Westminster is open 24 hours a day. It goes in the care plan next to your regular vet, and if anything seems wrong, you hear from Hope right away.
