Overnight pet sitting in your own home.
Hope or one of the sitters she trained stays the night in your home, keeps your pets on their routine, and sends a photo update every day you’re away.

Why an overnight instead of a kennel or quick visits?
Boarding and short check-ins work for some pets. For many others, especially seniors, anxious dogs and pets on medication, a night alone or a night in a kennel is the hardest part of your trip.
With an overnight, your pets stay in their own beds with someone there through the evening, the night and the morning. Your house doesn’t sit empty either.
No kennel stress
No new smells, no barking neighbors, no car ride. Your pet’s day looks like any other day.
Nobody alone all night
Drop-ins leave long gaps overnight. With an overnight, your sitter is there for the late walk, the night and breakfast.
Doses on time
Evening and morning medications are given on schedule and written into the care plan.
A home that looks lived in
Lights on in the evening, mail and packages brought in, trash out on the right day.
What overnight clients say
Our family loves taking week-long vacations, but leaving our two dogs behind is never easy. One of our dogs is partially blind and deaf, and the other has diabetes. On our next family vacation, we won’t hesitate to trust Hope to care for both our dogs and our home again.
Hope took exceptional care of our pets and home while we were away. She was dependable, trustworthy, and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind.
She gave us complete peace of mind by sending regular updates, photos, and messages letting us know how everything was going.
Evening to morning, the way you’d do it
Every overnight follows the care plan you write together at the walkthrough. A typical night looks like this.
Evening
Dinner at your pets’ usual time, the evening walk or play, litter scooped, evening medications given and logged. Lights on, mail and packages in.
Overnight
Your sitter sleeps at your home, so nobody is alone through the night and the house isn’t empty.
Morning
Morning walk and potty break, breakfast, fresh water, morning medications. Then your daily photo update.
The day you come home
Spaces your sitter used are cleaned, bedding stripped, the home photographed, and you get a short note on how your pets did.
Need someone with your pets during the day too? Overnights pair well with midday drop-in visits and dog walks.

Overnight pet sitting questions
Does my sitter actually sleep at my house?
Yes. An overnight means your sitter, Hope or one of the sitters she has personally vetted and trained, spends the night in your home with your pets, so they’re not alone overnight and your house isn’t empty. You’ll know who’s coming before the stay starts.
How much does overnight pet sitting cost?
Overnights are $120 a night for one dog, and new clients get their first stay at $100 a night. Households with more pets or extra care needs are quoted at the free walkthrough, so you know the exact rate before you book.
Will you take care of the house too?
Yes. Bringing in mail and packages, watering plants, turning lights on and off, and taking out trash are part of every overnight. Your sitter cleans any space they used before you get home.
How will I know my pets are okay?
You’ll get at least one text and photo every day. First-time clients get a morning and an evening update by default. If anything seems off with your pet, Hope contacts you right away.
My pet takes medication. Is that okay?
Medication schedules are part of the written care plan, with doses and times. Tell Hope exactly what your pet needs at the walkthrough and she’ll tell you honestly what she can do.
How far ahead should I book an overnight?
For holidays and school breaks, two to four weeks ahead is best. Otherwise, reach out as soon as you know your dates.
