House sitting from Westminster to Boulder
Hope or one of her trained sitters stays with your pets and looks after your home: mail, plants, lights, trash, and a photo walkthrough.

An empty house is its own worry
Most people plan a trip around the pets. The house is the part that keeps them up at night: the packages on the porch, the dark windows, the plant that never gets watered.
House sitting covers both. Your sitter stays with your pets and looks after your home the way you would if you were there. Every sitter is someone Hope knows personally and trained to her own standard.
Mail piling up
Mail and packages are brought in every day, so nothing sits on the porch announcing that you’re gone.
A house that looks empty
Lights go on in the evening and off in the morning. Trash goes out on the right day. The house looks lived in, because it is.
A stranger in your space
Your sitter uses only the rooms you approve at the walkthrough. Everything else stays closed and untouched, and you’ll know who’s coming before the sit starts.
Problems nobody mentions
A leak, a broken latch, a sick pet. If something seems wrong, you hear about it right away, not when you get home.
What house sitting clients say
Hope took exceptional care of our pets and home while we were away. She was dependable, trustworthy, and kept us updated with messages and photos, which gave us complete peace of mind. When we returned home, our pets were happy, relaxed, and well cared for, and our home was clean.
On our next family vacation, we won’t hesitate to trust Hope to care for both our dogs and our home again.
Your home, documented from start to finish
Every house sit follows a written care plan you put together at the free walkthrough before your first booking. Here is how the home side of it goes.
Walk through
Hope or one of her sitters visits for free, meets your pets and goes through the house with you: which rooms your sitter can use, where the plants are, trash day, and anything else the house needs.
Photograph
On arrival, your sitter takes a photo walkthrough of the home, so there is a record of how it was found.
Look after
Each day: mail and packages in, plants watered, lights on and off, trash out. Plus your pets’ full routine and at least one text and photo.
Leave it clean
Before you get home, your sitter cleans the spaces they used, strips the bed, and takes a departure photo walkthrough.
For the pet side of the night, see overnight pet sitting.

Included with every house sit

- Lights on and off

Fish, birds and reptiles can be added to the plan too.

House sitting questions
What is the difference between house sitting and pet sitting?
Pet sitting is about your pets. House sitting adds the home: mail and packages, plants, lights and trash, with a photo walkthrough when your sitter arrives and when they leave. Your sitter stays overnight in both cases.
Which rooms will my sitter use?
Only the rooms you approve at the walkthrough. Anything you want left closed stays closed.
How much does house sitting cost?
House sitting is $120 a night for one dog, with the home tasks included, and new clients get their first stay at $100 a night. More pets or extra care are quoted at the free walkthrough, so you know the exact rate before you book.
What happens if something breaks or goes wrong?
You hear about it right away. If it’s something your sitter did, Hope owns it. Hope’s Loving Pet Care is insured.
Will my house be clean when I get back?
Yes. Your sitter cleans the spaces they used, strips the bed, and takes a departure photo walkthrough so you can see the house as it was left.
Going away? Let’s walk the house first.
Hope or one of her sitters comes over, meets your pets, walks the house with you and writes the care plan. Want Hope herself? Just ask. No charge, no obligation.
